Yamaha V-Star 650 Classic
submitted by Michele
I am 5'0" tall, and I ride a stock 2003 V-Star 650
Classic, which is my first bike. My feet are flat on both sides of the
bike. I am glad I got this bike, instead of a smaller cc engine, as I
believe I would have wanted to quickly move up to a slightly larger
bike. My husband was convinced this would be a good starter bike for me,
and he was right! :-)
I am planning to keep this bike for at least a couple of years to get
some really good riding practice under my belt before moving up to a
larger cc engine. I really enjoy riding this beautiful (and nicely
priced) machine. Get lots of compliments from other riders :-)

Michele says, "See the article for what I ride. I live in a large suburb
just north of Boston. Currently a member of WoW North Shore. Also enjoy
riding with my husband alongside his RoadStar 1600 and our children,
ages 8 and 11. Took the MSF course first weekend in August 2003; passed
on my first attempt. Hubby rode as a teenager; took it up again this
year after taking the MSF course a while back."
