Yamaha V-Star 1100 Classic

submitted by Mookie

I moved up to my Yamaha Vstar 1100 Classic from a Honda Rebel 250, which was my first bike. I like the Vstar because with a 28" inseam I could flat-foot it stock. It has since been lowered 2" to make it more comfortable. The bike weighs about 600 lbs and I've picked it up by myself once so the weight is very well balanced. The bike handles superbly. It is not top heavy but has a very low center of gravity. I purchased the 1100cc instead of the 650cc because I wanted a bike to last me for long time without feeling the need to increase in size quickly. I highly recommend this bike, especially for women.
